Booking and Payment

Turnaround Times

These timeframes are provided as guidance only and are not guaranteed. Completion times may vary depending on workload, the complexity of the materials submitted or unforeseen circumstances.

All portfolios, artist statements, CVs, exhibition proposals and supporting materials submitted as part of a service will be treated as confidential.

Intellectual Property
All copyright and intellectual property rights in materials submitted to Rebecca Smith Projects remain with the artist or creator.
Copyright in any written reports, feedback documents or other materials produced by Rebecca Smith Projects remains the property of Rebecca Smith Projects unless otherwise agreed.

Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel your booking within 24 hours of purchase, provided work has not already commenced.
Once work has commenced, cancellations and refunds are not available, as services are based on professional time and expertise.
If Rebecca Smith Projects is unable to complete the agreed service, an appropriate refund or alternative arrangement will be offered.

Limitation of Liability
Rebecca Smith Projects will provide all services with reasonable care, skill and professionalism. However, no guarantee is made regarding future career opportunities, funding applications, gallery representation, exhibition outcomes, publication or commercial success arising from the advice provided.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rebecca Smith Projects shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of its services.
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes liability where such liability cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

Rebecca Smith Projects aims to provide a clear and fair booking process for all clients. As all services are based on professional time and preparation, this policy explains when cancellations and refunds are available.
Cancelling Your Booking
Bookings may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase, provided work has not already commenced.
If work has already begun within this 24-hour period, the booking cannot be cancelled and a refund will not be available.
After 24 Hours
Bookings cannot be cancelled more than 24 hours after purchase.
This is because time has been reserved specifically for your project and preparation may already have begun.
Once Work Has Started
Once work has commenced, all bookings become non-refundable.
This includes, but is not limited to:
reviewing submitted materials
researching your practice
preparing written feedback
drafting reports
conducting consultations
undertaking project or research work
If Rebecca Smith Projects Cancels
If Rebecca Smith Projects is unable to provide the agreed service due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered either:
a full refund, or
an alternative appointment or completion date, where appropriate.
Exceptional Circumstances
Requests outside this policy may be considered at the sole discretion of Rebecca Smith Projects.
